TELOS

For Hybrid Centers.

Clinical care and movement.
One continuum of treatment.

You have built something that existing software cannot yet describe: a place where rehabilitation becomes training, and training is already care. TELOS is the first operating system designed for this model.

No commitment. A conversation about where you are and where you are going.

The gap the literature has known for years.

The patient wants to continue. The system does not hold them. The clinic pays the price.

Rehab resolves an episode. Movement continues a trajectory. Between the two lies a gap that clinical literature has documented for years — yet no software has filled. Three numbers describe the same problem from three angles.

Signal · 01

70%

do not adhere to home exercise after physiotherapy ends.

Not laziness: the absence of structured continuity. Once supervision stops, the clinical value built dissolves.

Essery R et al. · Disability and Rehabilitation, 2017 · PMID 27097761

Signal · 02

69%

of patients recover from low back pain — then relapse within 12 months.

Median time to relapse: 139 days. A structured exercise program cuts the risk by 50% (Cochrane). The problem is not physiotherapy: it is what happens after.

da Silva T et al. · Journal of Physiotherapy, 2019 · PMID 31208917

Signal · 03

4.2×

higher likelihood of adhering to exercise under professional supervision.

RCT on hip and knee osteoarthritis. Odds ratio 4.2 (95% CI 1.5–12.4). Supervision is not an upsell: it decides whether movement exists.

The hybrid center is not a marketing intuition. It is the structural response to a clinical evidence physiotherapy has known for years — and that finally has an operating system.

The scene you know.

It is 6:45 pm. The last physio session ends. The patient rises from the treatment table, looks around, and says: "Can I start the Pilates classes?"

On a clinical level you know the answer. On everything else, less so. Who enters him in the class system? How is the subscription handled alongside the session package? If he is injured in a class, is the file updated?

You register him manually, open a second software, create a new profile — the same name, the same person, another record. Meanwhile he is already at reception, credit card in hand, waiting.

This moment — the patient who wants to stay, who chooses you even for what comes after — is the most valuable in your business model. It is also the one your tools handle worst.

Not because you failed to build the right center. But because no software was built for him.

The patient who wants to stay is the clearest signal that you have built something of value.
Do not let him walk away.

The gap that costs.

"I have two systems, two profiles, two records for the same person. Every time a patient becomes a member, I recreate them from scratch."

One unified profile. Patient and member, in the same place.

TELOS unifies your client's identity regardless of the service they consume. Clinical file, training card, membership, payments: one profile, protected by RLS and fully GDPR Art. 9 compliant. The patient-to-member transition is not a manual operation. It is a gesture.

One profile, two roles: the patient becomes a member in a single gesture.

"I manage Pilates subscriptions, session packages and single bookings across three separate spreadsheets. At month end I never know what I have actually collected."

Memberships and session packages in the same billing engine.

TELOS's pricing engine natively handles mixed models: recurring subscriptions, prepaid packages, on-demand visits. Every payment is tracked and reconciled, VAT-exempt and standard lines kept separate — no extra spreadsheets, no manual calculations at month end.

Subscriptions and packages reconciled on their own — no spreadsheets.

"My physiotherapists see the clinical progress. The trainers see the performance metrics. Nobody sees the full picture of the patient."

Clinical PROMs and performance metrics, in continuity.

Does rehabilitation end when movement begins? For the patient, it does not. TELOS builds a continuous timeline from the first intake PROM to performance metrics. The physiotherapist sees what the trainer does, the trainer knows where the patient comes from, the sports physician has a report that integrates both dimensions.

The pathway continues into the class: progress shows in the gym too.

The system.

Three functions built for the hybrid model.

01

Unified patient-member profile.

A single record aggregating clinical data (file, PROMs, documents), membership data (classes, subscription, attendance) and financial data (packages, payments, credits). GDPR Art. 9 across the entire clinical profile. Role-differentiated access: the physio sees the clinical file, the trainer sees the movement card, administration sees the financial picture.

02

Hybrid calendar with role management.

A unified calendar for clinical room and movement studio, with native role constraints. The same therapist can be a physiotherapist in the morning and an instructor in the afternoon: the system creates no conflicts, it manages the context switch. Clinical bookings and class reservations share the same infrastructure.

03

Outcome continuity report.

An evolving report that follows the patient from initial assessment to performance metrics. It captures validated PROMs in the clinical phase, functional indicators in the training phase, and subjective perception throughout the entire journey. Useful for the internal team, communicable to the patient, shareable with the referring physician.

The living lab.

TELOS was born in a hybrid center.

Basesana is not a client: it's the lab where TELOS was born. A multidisciplinary center in Milan — physiotherapy, sports medicine, movement classes, wellness, medical coworking. Fourteen physiotherapists, over four thousand active patients each year. Not a case study built in retrospect.

It is the place where TELOS was written. Every function was born from a real problem at the center — including the ones that arise when physio and movement coexist under the same roof.

  • Unified profile tested on patients transitioning between physio and classes in both directions.
  • Pricing engine calibrated on monthly subscriptions, session packages and single visits in parallel.
  • Calendar managed across 14 operators in multiple roles, same facility, different spaces.
  • Outcome tracking spanning the clinical phase and the functional training phase.
When I had a patient on the physio waiting list who was meanwhile continuing his classes, I understood I needed a system that saw them as the same person. We were already a hybrid center. The software was not.

Who it is for.

Not for everyone. For those who have already made the harder choice.

01

Physiotherapy practices with clinical Pilates

You have added movement studios to your clinic. Patients stay after physio. You need a system that follows them, not one that loses them.

02

Sport science and longevity centers

You work with athletes, demanding over-50s, preventive profiles. Your differentiator is data precision — you need a tool that preserves it.

03

Premium recovery studios

Active recovery, compression, cryotherapy, work alongside a physio or osteopath. The client comes for the protocol, stays for the results: you want to track both.

04

Rehabilitation clinics with integrated classes

A consolidated clinical structure plus a group offering — postural classes, medical gymnastics, functional training. You have two identities. You want one system.

05

Pilates studios with an in-house physiotherapist

The physio is part of the team, not an external consultant. You are building something more solid than a class studio.

Defensibility.

Movement is a continuation of care. Prove it.

Premium hybrid centers face a challenge gyms do not: justifying their proposition to the referring physician, to the payer, and to the client who asks why they pay more for a class that costs less elsewhere.

The answer is not narrative: it is documentation. TELOS gives you the tools to demonstrate — with data, with continuity, with a report that makes sense even to an orthopaedic surgeon — that what you do is not fitness. It is care.

  • Outcome reports shareable with the referring physician or specialist.
  • Validated PROMs integrated across the entire journey — not only in the clinical phase.
  • Clinical file and training card as a single evolving document.
  • GDPR Art. 9 compliance across the full profile — including the fitness phase.

When your client understands that the Pilates class is part of their documented care pathway, they stop comparing the price to the gym around the corner.

Hybrid centers typically use TELOS Studio or Clinic.

See the plans

You have built a model that the market does not yet have a precise name for.

TELOS is the system that describes, measures and protects it.
